About Heritage Wars

Heritage Wars preserves military heritage through the stories, traditions, humor, and legends passed from one generation to the next.

It begins with Ervin William Reed and the WWII Turtle Club—pilots, friends, adventures, and the kind of stories that grow better every time they are told.

From World War II, Heritage Wars will continue into Vietnam, Korea, World War I, and other generations of military history. Some stories are historical, some are inspired by family memories and military traditions, and some are simply too good to let the truth get in the way.

Never Let the Truth Get in the Way of a Good Story.

Heritage Wars is about keeping military history alive by making it personal, entertaining, and worth passing along.

We tell the stories of the people behind the uniforms—their friendships, humor, traditions, courage, mistakes, and adventures. The WWII Turtle Club and Ervin William Reed are our starting point, but they are only the beginning.

As Heritage Wars grows, we will add stories from World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and other periods of American military history.

Our goal is simple: Preserve the stories. Honor the people. Pass them on to the next generation.
